Ridge Services is the third-party domestic provider of warehousing and fulfillment services for Tommy Hilfiger, USA. Ridge employs more than 500 people in three separate facilities totaling one-million square feet in the Dayton/Cranbury corridor just off exit 8a of the NJ Turnpike.
For the past ten years, Ridge has constantly adapted to the changing requirements to the Tommy Hilfiger business plan. We work very closely with out clients not only to service their customers, but also in planning future requirements. The philosophy of Ridge is not just to simply be a service provider, but to be a partner with our customers so that we have the knowledge and insight needed to fulfill their needs both now and in the future.
Ridge Services is flexible enough to provide management and staffing for everything from low-tech manual operations (pick to cart from paper tickets) to highly automated multi-million dollar, IT driven systems.
We have recently installed a mezzanined three-level high, thirty-two zone automated pick (to tote) module with system driven replenishment and in-line packing stations to support Tommy Hilfiger's core business. Two years ago we implemented an automated shipping system that is capable of delivering 8,000 cartons per day directly from pallet flow rack into floor loaded trailers.
Ridge Services provides fulfillment services to the following Tommy Hilfiger businesses:
• Core, Basic, Fashion and Holiday wholesale divisions, including replenishment.
• Retail store fulfillment for 130 Tommy-owned locations.
• B2C (telephone and internet orders) picking and shipping in security cage. All B2C orders received by 3pm ship the same day.
• GOH hanging rail system (28’ high)
• Returns center processing
• Wholesale consolidation center (70% of wholesale shipping is done the last five days of the month)
To meet the ever changing and growing needs of our clients, we provide the following warehouse functions:
• Receiving and inbound scanning
• Case labeling
• Product matrix set-up and maintenance
• Put-away
• Pick/pack and back to stock.
• Shipping
• Special services (including re-ticketing, hangtags, steaming, packaging changes, price stickers, etc…)
• Facilities maintenance and special projects including pallet rack construction.
• Day to day maintenance of powered equipment fleet and battery charging area.
